April is organ and tissue donation month

Morgan was often in the background with the activities in her world, whether at her brother's sporting events, her AHG troop or even at family gatherings.

Being kind is a trait that will come to mind for many when they think of Morgan.

She was almost always willing to help when asked and would do things that she recognized needed to be done without being asked. An example is a time she escorted someone to the restroom and waited patiently while they did their business. She didn't mention the 'aroma' that was a result of that business.

While a child herself, Morgan had talked about helping children by being a foster parent.

Morgan's parents honored her spirit of helping others when she passed by working with the Mid America Transplant organization.

April is organ and tissue donation month. We have taken comfort in knowing that Morgan's light continued to shine. We encourage you to talk to your family about organ donation and make them aware of your wishes.
